Hello guys, i am back with another post.
So after you decide what's going to be your Page Title tag for a particular page, next what we have to do is to put H1 tag in that page.

H1 tag is the title(topic) of any web page, say i am writing a post on keyword, what would i write first off -

What is a Keyword?
Keyword are the words and phrases in your web content that make it possible for people to find your website by search engines.

So in the above example, i would put "What is a Keyword?" in H1 tag because this is the topic of my website's homepage or any other page.

See the below snapshot as an example:

Topics of a page are often set with header tags <h1> though <h6>, while important items are put in bold to make sure that the user noticed them. <h1> tag is the most important tag for any page of your website.

Header tags - <h1> through <h6> :-

Use <h1> for top-level heading.
However, you do not need to use all six elements to structure your pages.
For example:
<h1>What is SEO<h1>
<p>Here is some text</p>
<h2>Two types of SEO</h2>
<p>Here is some text</p>
<h2>On-Page</h2>
<p>Here is some text</p>
<h2>Off-Page</h2>
<p>Here is some text</p>
<h3>On-Page Features</h3>
<p>Here is some text</p>
<h3>Off-Page Features</h3>
<p>Here is some text</p>

A page that consists entirely of header tags looks pretty Spam to search engines, and it isn't very useful to your visitors.

bold, italic, and emphasis
When you are mentioning your keywords throughout the page, it's recommended to put them into italics, bold, or emphasis (<em>) to make sure the search engines know that these words are important.

Google Will sometimes Use H1,H2,H3,H4,H5 & H6 As Titles(Title tag) For Page Snippet.

How you write your header, or h1 tag, is going to be similar to how you wrote your title tag.  Sometimes these can be the same, and that’s OK.

Put your header tag <h1> </h1> at the top of the page, preferably after the <body> tag.

In short, H1 is for Page topic, H2 is for H1 sub topic, H3 for H2 sub topic and so on.

I hope you have an idea now of what are headings and how to use them. Will see you soon with another post.

Bbye
